Volume Records and Beer is one of Hillsborough’s favorite hidden gems. It’s the coziest spot where you can grab a drink and shop for amazing records. When we ask folks around town what they recommend people check out, Volume Records is always one of the top choices 🎶

🎺 Volume Records is open Tuesday 2-8pm, Wed/Thurs 11-8, Friday/Sat 11-9, Sunday 12-6. They are closed on Mondays. 
📍They are located at 226 S Churton Street. While you’re there, check out the awesome Billy Strayhorn mural on the side of the building!
Have you been to Hillsborough Bakeshop yet? 🧁 It’s a cute little neighborhood bakeshop and cafe right on Churton street! They serve breakfast, lunch, coffee, and the most incredible pastries. They even have gluten free options!

Serratore’s Pasta & Pizza is now open! They serve fine Italian-American favorites. There’s pizza, pasta, cocktails, and more. 

🍝 Serratore’s is open Monday-Tuesday-Thursday from 4-9, Friday-Saturday from 4-10 and Sunday from 4-8. They are currently closed Wednesdays. 
👉🏼 Right now, they aren’t accepting reservations, so first come first served!

Eno River Brewing has so much to do! Located in West Hillsborough, ERB has live music, trivia, food trucks, and some of the best craft beer in town. You can even get to them via the Riverwalk! Theres always something to do here - or you can sit and do nothing at all 😉

🍻 Eno River Brewing is open Sunday 12-8, Monday-Thursday 3-9 and Friday Saturday 12-10pm.

Paws at the Corner is our favorite local pet store! They have tons of toys and treats, and even a self-serve dog wash station. We also made a ton of new furry friends when we went to visit 🐶🐾

🐩 Paws at the Corner is open Monday-Saturday from 10am-6pm, and 12-5pm on Sundays.

Moorefields is a beautiful historic home that was built in 1785. It was originally a summer home for Alfred Moore, a founder of UNC Chapel Hill who also served on the US Supreme Court. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 by Edward Draper-Savage, an artist and French professor at UNC. 

🌸 Moorefields is now open for tours EVERY Thursday from 11-4. Admission price includes a one hour tour and the ability to explore the expansive grounds for the day. 
🍃 You can also tour the home every last Sunday from 1-4pm between May and August. 
⭐️ Tour tickets can be purchased at Moorefields.org
📍 Moorefields is located at 2001 Moorefields Road in Hillsborough 

They are also hosting a Bluegrass Festival on the grounds on October 11!

Broken Spoke Farm is the cutest farm stand! They have fresh seasonal produce, ice cream, and animal friends to meet. @broken.spoke.farm
